A young boy is reported to have been martyred due to unprovoked cross-border shelling by Indian forces along the line of control (LOC) on late Tuesday night.
According to the statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation (CFVs) using heavy artillery and weapons resulting in a civilian casualty of a young boy on the Pakistani side.

“Indian troops unprovoked ceasefire violation (CFV) targeting civil population using Artillery, Mortars and heavy weapons in Lipa Sector along LOC late last night. A young boy resident of Talwari village martyred due to Indian indiscriminate firing. Pakistan Army responded effectively to Indian firing,” read the statement issued by ISPR.
Prior to this, Pakistan Army shot down an Indian spy drone on June 28 after it intruded 850 meters inside Pakistani territory in Hot Spring sector along LOC.
