Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) house building – Lahore, has been closed after 30 of its employees tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus on Saturday.
As per the notification issued by WAPDA secretary, WAPDA house building has been closed for nine days, from June 13 to June 21 after 30 of its employees were diagnosed with coronavirus.
Employees have been directed to work from home and ensure their availability in office timings, whereas important meetings will be held at Sunny View office.

The WAPDA house will remain close for the officials have directed the building to be disinfected during the closure to curb the virus spread.
Earlier, eight National Accountability Bureau (NAB) employees and officials including an additional director, two deputy directors, three assistant directors and another staffer had tested positive for coronavirus on June 12. Whereas last week a 50-year old security guard at a NAB office in Islamabad had succumbed due to COVID-19 on June 4.
