Prime Minister Imran Khan, on Monday, heeding to the Ulema’s demands, approved the deferment of utility bills of mosques, imambargahs, madrassas and other places of worship.
“The PM has agreed to the ulemas’ demand and proposed their recommendation to the economic team,” said Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan – the special assistant to the prime minister (SAPM) for information and broadcasting in a press conference along with Religious Affairs Minister Noorul Haq Qadri
It is pertinent to know that Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan had approved waiving utility bills of the various sectors in the country amid COVID-19 lockdown.
In addition to it, a tele school TV channel for the students from grade one to 12 has been launched on PTV to address the academic loss of students as all the educational institutions have been shut down due to coronavirus threat.
