The United States (US) Embassy in Islamabad has announced the resumption of student visa services from October 1st.
According to the press-release issued by US Embassy in Islamabad, the student visa services will be restored at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and the U.S. Consulate General in Karachi from October 1st.
“Student visas are a top priority for the U.S. Mission in Pakistan. We will make every effort to assist student visa applicants as timely and safely as possible. We have spent the last few months putting measures in place to ensure the health and safety of applicants and our employees during the COVID-19 pandemic,” read the press-release.
Around 8,000 Pakistani students are enrolled in various universities and colleges across United States at any given time.
