US Charge d’ Affairs – Angela Aggeler met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi on Friday (today) and praised Pakistan’s contribution in Afghan Peace Process.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), US Charge d’ Affairs – Angela Aggeler and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa matters of mutual interest, overall regional security situation including recent developments in Afghan Peace Process and bilateral cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, the US dignitary recognized and commended Pakistan’s sincere efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region.
Prior to this, COAS General Bajwa met with Danila V. Ganich – Russian Ambassador to Pakistan at GHQ, Rawalpindi and discussed bilateral relations and security cooperation, on Thursday a day earlier.
The two mulled over matters of mutual interest, regional security situation, enhanced bilateral and defence cooperation and Afghan Peace Process as the Army Chief expressed hope to increase and improve bilateral military cooperation between the two countries.
