Indian troops, on Wednesday, martyred an elderly man in front of his grandson in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
According to details, martyred a civilian during a cordon and search operation in Model town area of Sopore. The elderly man, accompanied by his grandson, was purportedly dragged out from his vehicle and then shot and killed by Indian troops on Wednesday morning.
According to family sources, the deceased went out around 6 am when he was stopped by Indian troops and was killed in a fake encounter.
The development comes as earlier, two soldiers of Indian Central Reserve Police Force were killed and two others critically injured in an attack in the same area.

It is to be noted that 54 Kashmiris, including two young boys have been martyred in the month of June alone, by Indian forces in the disputed territory of IoK.
As per the statistics revealed by Kashmir Media Service (KMS), 29 people received pellet gun injuries, 82 were arrested including an aged woman, whereas three woman were molested by Indian forces in 567 so called search and cordon operations carried out by Indian forces in IOK.
