Karachi: Ulema urge people to ‘stay at home’ on Shab-e-Barat (15th of Sha’aban) as Sindh government intensify lockdown restrictions on account of the religious occasion.
Sindh government has advised people to abstain from offering prayers at various graveyards on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat.
Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC), on Tuesday, had urged people to observe Shab-e-Barat while remaining indoors as advised by healthcare experts.
“Pray all the prayers indoors,” read the issued statement.
Tahir Ashrafi stated, “Pray two rakats namaz, and ask Allah for forgiveness and his mercy to get rid of this pandemic.”
Congregational prayers have already been temporarily banned by authorities, and only mosque staff is allowed to conduct prayers as healthcare experts have warned against public gatherings to curb the virus spread.
