Security forces killed two terrorists and apprehended another during an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Kulachi area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district, said the military’s media wing on Monday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on December 9 (today) on the reported presence of the militants.
“During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged khwarij [terrorists] location, as a result of which, two Khwarij were sent to hell, while one Kharji was apprehended in injured condition,” said the statement.
The ISPR also said that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from these terrorists who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against the security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians.
Moreover, it said sanitisation operation was launched conducted to eliminate any other militants found in the area as security forces of Pakistan “are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country”.
