Two Pakistan Army soldiers including an officer have been martyred in Kurram District, reported ISPR on Tuesday (today).
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Security Forces conducted an Area Sanitization Operation in Zewa area of Kurram District on reported presence of terrorists.
During the operation, two Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom, whereas three terrorists were also killed as a result of retaliatory fire by security forces.
The martyred have been identified as Captain Basit – 25 years, resident of Haripur and Sepoy Hazrat Bilal – 22 years, resident of Orakzai.
Cordon and search operation is in progress to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, said ISPR.
