Two Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in cross-border shelling along the line of control (LOC) on Wednesday (today).
According to the press-release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate cross-border shelling in Dewa Sector along LOC.
Two Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in the cross-border shelling, said the ISPR.
The martyred soldiers have been identified as Sepoy Noor ul Hassan – 29, and Sepoy Waseem Ali – 25.
Meanwhile Pakistan Army strongly responded to Indian ceasefire violation (CFV) and effectively targeted Indian military posts.
“Pakistan Army responded and target those posts which initiated fire. Reports of substantial damage to Indian post and men and material,” read the ISPR press-release.
As per the details, 2,333 ceasefire violations by Indian forces in 2020 so far. The continuous CFVs have resulted in several military and civilian casualties and injuries on the Pakistani side.
