Turkish Consul General Karachi on Thursday, offered to establish Tram services in the metropolitan city with the collaboration of Turkish government.
Tolga Ucak – Turkish Consul General, met with Administrator Iftikhar Shalwani and offered Turkish government’s assistance to establish Tram services in Karachi.
The Turkish envoy proposed the construction of a Tram track on Karachi’s M.A. Jinnah Road from Mereweather Tower to Numaish roundabout.
The proposed tram service also included a tram track at I.I. Chundrigar Road – the primary business hub of the metropolis.
In addition to it, Turkish Consul General offered his country’s services in modernization of libraries in Karachi.
Meanwhile, Iftikhar Shalwani highlighted that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey are deep-rooted.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Turkish envoy for Turkey’s offer of assistance and cooperation for Karachi’s development.
