Turkey and China have expressed sorrow, conveying deepest condolences over fatal Ghotki train incident resulting in dozens of casualties.
In a statement, Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its condolences over the tragic Ghotki incident.
We are deeply saddened to receive the news that as a result of a train crash in Ghotki district of Sindh province in Pakistan today (June 7) more than 30 people have lost their lives and many others were injured, read the statement.

We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who have lost their lives in this tragic accident, speedy recovery to those who were injured, and convey our condolences to the friendly Government and the brotherly people of Pakistan, it added.
Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan – Mr Nong Rong also extended condolences to the families of the Ghotki incident victims.

At least 40 people have been killed after two passenger trains collided in Ghotki at around 3:30 am.
The incident took place in Daharki near Raiti railway station after Millat Express derailed and collided with Sir Syed Express.
The death toll is expected to increase as several people are still believed to be buried under the rubble.
