Security forces on Thursday (today), arrested three Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists in Karachi.
As per details, policy force under DSP Darakshan and SHO Defence Police Station, conducted a raid in Karachi’s Qayoomabad neighborhood on Thursday (today).
Three TTP terrorists have been apprehended during the raid.
Furthermore, police recovered two hand grenades, three awan bombs, three pistols and several rounds of ammunition from the militants.
According to Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) South – Zubair Nazir, the terrorists were wanted to the police in various cases.
Police is searching for the accomplices of the miscreants, he added.
Prior to this, CTD had arrested Muhammad Umar Bin Khalid – an NED University student from Karachi, over accusations of terror funding for a Syria-based extremist organization.
The suspect was sending money via cryptocurrency ‘bitcoin’ and online transaction service ‘Easy Paisa’ to Daesh terrorists in Syria, said DIG CTD Raja Umar Khattab.
