Old Images have surfaced showing Esra Bilgic who plays ‘Halime Hatun’ in the Turkish historical tv series Ertugrul Ghazi, taking Indian Actress Priyanka Chopra to the cleaners for her anti-Pakistan stance.
The images actually include Esra Bilgic’s comment calling out Priyanka Chopra for her double-standards and unprofessional and irresponsible behaviour when a Pakistani named Ayesha Malik had reminded Priyanka Chopra of her duties as UN’s goodwill ambassador.
“Being patriotic doesn’t mean that you should encourage the war. You shouldn’t belong in a conversation concerning war as a UN goodwill ambassador. You effect many children, many people as a role model. And you were so disrespectful against a woman who just asked you a question about your statement that you shared with millions people in your own twitter account,” said Esra Bilgic.
It is to be noted that Priyanka Chopra who’s a UN goodwill ambassador had snubbed and responded with ‘Jai Hind’ in response to Ayesha Malik’s call for peace amid heightened Indo-Pak tensions after the so-called ‘surgical strike’ by Indian forces across the border in Pakistan.
Diriliş: Ertuğrul, or Erutgrul Ghazi is a Turkish historical fiction drama series, has garnered praise and recognition from Pakistanis after the state-run Pakistan Television (PTV) started airing this historic tv series portraying Islamic principles and values on special instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
