Three Pakistan Navy (PN), Commodores have been promoted to Rear Admiral rank, Navy spokesperson reported on Thursday.
According to Director General Public Relations (DGPR) Pakistan Navy, three of its Commodores have been promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral.
The officers promoted to Rear Admiral rank include Commodore Javed Iqbal, Commodore Muhammad Sohail Arshad and Commodore Salman Ilyas.
The newly promoted Rear Admirals are graduates of Pakistan Navy War College and National Defence University (NDU). The officers have vast experience of various Command and Staff appointments & are recipient of Sitara-e-Imtiaz (military).
Pakistan Navy Conducts Live Fire Drills
Pakistan Navy (PN) conducted live fire drills in North Arabian Sea on January 12th which included missiles, torpedoes being fired from ships and submarines respectively.
PN demonstrated combat readiness and War Fighting capabilities through Live Weapon Firing at North Arabian Sea. Missiles and torpedoes launched from Pakistan Navy Submarines successfully engaged intended targets.
