Mangal Bagh – a wanted terrorist by Pakistan, is reported to have been killed in an explosion in Nangarhar, Afghanistan.
According to details, banned Lashkar-e-Islam’s leader Mangal Bagh, who was wanted by Pakistan for being involved in various terrorist incidents, has been killed in an explosion in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province.
Ziaulhaq Amarkhil – Governor Nangarhar, took to social media to announce that notorious terrorist Mangal Bagh has been killed in an explosion along with two of his associates/security guards on Thursday a day earlier.
Reported to be in his 50s, Mangal Bagh had been involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan’s tribal areas and had fled Khyber district due to military operation in 2008.
Mangal Bagh was visiting his son’s house in Bandar Darra in Achin district in Nangarhar when the incident took place, say Afghan officials.
Mangal Bagh’s Lashkar-e-Islam was also affiliated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Government of Pakistan and United States had placed an Rs 10 million and USR 3 million bounty for Mangal Bagh.
