Security forces on Friday (today), foiled a major terror bid by confiscating explosive material in Khuzdar, Balochistan.
As per details, Levies forces recovered 88 kilograms of explosive material from a vehicle during snap checking at Zawah check post in Khuzdar, Balochistan.
According to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Khuzdar Wali Muhammad Lehri, two suspects have been taken into custody.
In addition to it, security forces also recovered wires, timers from the vehicle which were sufficient enough for more than 300 explosive devices.
Balochistan has witnessed a significant spike in terror incidents in recent times. Two FC personnel along with 12 other people were injured in a grenade attack in Sorab Bazar on December 19th last week.
Meanwhile, seven FC personnel were martyred in a terrorist attack in Sharig, Harnai Balochistan on December 28th.
