Shanghai: Chinese officials have announced to close all the temporary hospitals in Wuhan city that were established on urgent basis to contain corona virus outbreak.
Chinese President, Xi Jinping visited Wuhan, the epicenter of the epidemic. The visit comes as Chinese authorities have taken unprecedented measures and quarantined all of Hubei- the province that is the center of this epidemic, to stop the spread of corona virus.

State media has reported that around 16 temporary hospitals have been closed that were converted from public buildings into make-shift medical facilities. According to Xinhua news agency, President Xi stated,
“The spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been basically curbed in Hubei province and its capital city Wuhan and initial success has been made in stabilizing the situation and turning the tide in Hubei and Wuhan.”
