Tabish Gauhar – Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on power has reportedly resigned from his post according to sources.
Sources say that Tabish Gauhar has submitted his resignation via WhatsApp. It has been reported that Mr Gauhar has had ceased his contact with the Ministry of Power since the last five days.
It has been reported that Tabish Gauhar had taken a tough stance in government’s negotiations with Independent Power Producers (IPPs).
Tabish Gauhar was appointed as SAPM on Power in October 2020 last year.
He had previously served as CEO, Director and Chairman of K-Electirc’s board for a period of seven years. He had resigned from the post back in 2015.
