ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 7 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,290,848.
The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 28,870 on Saturday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 357 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Pakistan has so far conducted 22,778,855 coronavirus tests and 47,903 in the last 24 hours. 1,252,396 patients have recovered in the country whereas 666 patients are in critical condition.
