Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Saturday (today) barred Justice Qazi Faez Isa from hearing cases involving PM Imran Khan.
As per details, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) – Justice Gulzar Ahmed has barred Justice Qazi Faez Isa from hearing cases involving Prime Minister Imran Khan.
CJP Gulzar Ahmed argued that to ensure the principles of un-biasness, it ‘would not be proper’ if Justice Qazi Faez Isa hears cases involving PM Imran Khan as he has already filed a petition against the premier in personal capacity.
The development comes as five-member SC bench comprising of CJP Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Mushir Alam, Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Ijazul Ahsan had disposed off a evelopment fund allocation case earlier.
