Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that in order to avoid complete lockdown, SOPs have to be followed.
A meeting of Corona Task Force was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in which provincial ministers Azra Pechoho, Saeed Ghani, Nasir Shah and others participated.
It was informed in the meeting that the proportion of corona positive cases in the province from April 22 to 28 has been 10.75% while Hyderabad is 20%, Sukkur is 9.48% and the rest of the districts is 2.79%.
On this, the Sindh Chief Minister said that the situation is not good and strict measures will have to be taken to ensure business hours from 6 am to 6 pm.
The Chief Minister set up a committee comprising Nasir Shah, Saeed Ghani and Owais Shah on the issue of business hours which will take strict measures to take traders and transporters into confidence.
The Chief Minister said that in order to avoid complete lockdown, SOPs have to be complied with. Some private offices are not following the decision to reduce SOPs and staff. Such offices should be sealed.
The Chief Minister Sindh while instructing to strictly enforce inter-city bus transport said that entry of public transport from other provinces is also prohibited in Sindh.
