Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), has reopened its offices in Karachi from today after facing extended closure due to COVID-19 lockdown.
As per the details, SRB officials have decided to resume organization’s operations and reopen its offices in Karachi to assist the operations and working of the construction sector.
According to Mehboob-u-Zaman – Sindh Revenue Minister, the office timings will be 10 am to 4 pm.
Officials have stressed that all the healthcare standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines issued by the Sindh government will be strictly implemented and have been termed mandatory.
Furthermore, in order to abide by the social-distancing measures, anyone intending to visit SRB offices will have to secure an appointment from the sub-registrar, whose approval will be given on phone.
The decision comes as the federal government has maintained its position of smart and limited lockdown and has allowed various sectors and industries to resume operations, whereas Sindh government has repeatedly backed the significance of the imposition of a complete lockdown to curb the virus spread.
Sindh has reported a total of 7,465 confirmed coronavirus cases, with 130 deaths so far.
