Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah affirmed that 298 new coronavirus cases have been registered in the region in past 24 hours on Thursday.
Out of 298 cases, 202 cases have been regitered are from Karachi while 96 rose up out of other Sindh areas CM Murad said while giving insights regarding the new cases.
He said that four people died from novel coronavirus in the territory during recent 24 hours, causing significant damage to 73. Murad Ali Shah said that the coronavirus cases in Karachi remain at 2,409 while the common count of positive cases has ascended to 3,671.
79 people were tested positive in Malir District, 63 new in District South, 25 cases in District East and 29 cases from District Central has been tested positive. The casualties remains at 73.
Murad Ali Shah said that the coronavirus testing lab to be built up at Karachi University that would get useful from today onwards. He further stated that the research center has the ability to lead 800 tests for every day and would end up being a genuine resource.
It must be noticed that the affirmed coronavirus cases in the nation have taken off to 10,513 after 742 new cases were accounted for during the previous 24 hours.
