Karachi: Sindh police have arrested 472 people on the violation of section 144 that has been imposed as the province is under a 15-day coronavirus lockdown.
Law enforcement agencies, on Monday, detained 222 people in Karachi for violating the government imposed lockdown.
As per the details, six violators were arrested in Mirpur Khas, eight in Sukkur, and 236 in Larkana.
A total of 72 cases, 33 in Karachi, two in Mirpurkhas, one in Sukkur, and 36 cases have been registered in Larkana on the breach of lockdown.
The government of Sindh has imposed a 15-day lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus as Sindh has reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases reaching a tally of 394.
Authorities have warned the masses to abstain from going out in public and have issued strict guidelines for those who do so.
LEAs have conducted flag march in various parts of the city including Jamshed Town, Mazar-e-Quaid, Tariq Road, Shahra-e-Quaideen and areas around Governor House.
