Shooting process for Voice of Sindh’s special short film ‘Sindh Meri Jaan’ has been completed, the short film will be released on Sindh Culture Day.
As per details, the filming process for ‘Sindh Meri Jaan’ which was executed at Iqra University campus has been finished.
The set comprised of iconic Sindhi culture idiosyncrasies and included a bonfire and traditional ‘Machh Kacheri’ with colors that are a hallmark of Sindhi culture.
The short film ‘Sindh Meri Jaan’ is the fifth production by Voice of Sindh Project Director Dr Umnair Haroon, who before this successfully produced other short films by Voice of Sindh such as ‘Jinnah Tum Durust Thay’ (Jinnah you were right), ‘Aey Pak Watan’, ‘Sitaron Se Aagay’ and ‘Tareekh Kay Musafir’.
The short film stars Hunaid Lakhani – renowned educationist and Voice of Sindh Patron-in-Chief, Najia Mir, Hira Umar, Hania Khan, Anila Khan and Arbaz Nabi.
The script has been written by Iqbal Khursheed, whereas Mehroz Ahmed has directed the short film.
Chaudhry Osama Saeed has produced the play, meanwhile Arbaz Nabi and Shujat Liaquat have offered their services as Associate Director and sound engineer respectively.
