Friday and Sunday will be observed as ‘closed days’ for businesses, whereas public transport will be limited to 50% capacity, added the notification.
Furthermore, educational institutions including schools, colleges and universities will also remain closed amid high COVID-19 positivity rate.
The development comes as Karachi Division (primarily District East and South), Hyderabad District (Qasimabad, Latifabad and Talika Hyderabad City) and Sukkur city have reported high COVID-19 positivity rate.
