Sindh government has revised its lockdown instructions as per the decisions made by National Coordination Committee (NCC).
As per revised lockdown directives, the closure of educational institutions, gyms, cinemas, wedding halls, beauty salons and amusement parks has been extended till June 30.
Furthermore, Sindh government has also increase the operational timings of markets by two hours, which now will be allowed to operate from 6 am to 7 pm, five days a week.
Traders and businessmen have welcomed the government’s decision to increase the markets’ operational timings as it will assist them in compensating for the financial loss faced due to coronavirus lockdown.
In addition to it, the decision regarding the resumption of public transport is also expected to be made soon in a meeting between transporters and Awais Qadir Shah – Sindh Transport Minister.
The development comes as NCC under Prime Minister Imran Khan, on Monday, decided to further ease down the lockdown measures across the country.
