Sindh government, on Tuesday, revealed that its considering restoring ban on public transport due to blatant violations of government SOPs and guidelines.
Awais Qadir Shah – Sindh Transport and Mass Transit Minister, has said that the government might resort to restoring public transport ban in the province due to the public’s failure in implementing and ensuring coronavirus preventive SOPs and measures.

Shah also cited that traffic police personnel have also failed to ensure the strict implementation of coronavirus SOPs, whereas both people and transporters have waived off the threat completely, failing at the use of face masks, gloves and hand sanitizers.
It is pertinent to know that Sindh has reported the second highest coronavirus tally with 39,555 cases, with 19,137 and 679 recoveries and deaths respectively.
