Sindh government, on Saturday, launched SEDL app aimed at providing online education for kindergarten to grade five students.
According to the notification issued by Sindh government, the School Education and Literacy Department (SELD) app will cover various subjects including, Mathematics, General Science, English and Urdu, and the courses will be taught in English, Urdu and Sindhi languages.

“Through this app, students can study in English, Urdu and Sindhi,” said Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani.
Furthermore, the development on an online education app for class VI to XII is also under works, he added.
Expressing his views on the reopening of educational institutions, the provincial education minister stated, “We are not in a position to reopen schools, even if schools were reopened, many parents would not send their children,”
It is to be noted that educational institutions across the country have been closed till July 15 amid coronavirus crisis which has affected more than 93,983 people in the country, of which 34,889 patients are from Sindh.
