ISLAMABAD: Ex-pacer of Pakistan cricket team Shoaib Akhtar’s mother laid to rest in Islamabad, a big number of people from various walks of life attended the funeral prayers.
Shoaib Akhtar announced the demise of his mother late on Saturday night drawing condolences from the cricket fraternity including the former bowler s Indian friends.

Taking to Twitter, Akhtar, regarded as one of the fastest bowlers in international cricket, wrote, “My mother, my everything, with the will of Allah taala, has left for heavenly abode. The funeral prayers will be held in Islamabad s sector H-8.”
