Accountability court on Tuesday, extended Shehbaz Sharif’s physical remand till October 20th in money laundering and assets beyond means case.
Accountability Court Judge Jawadul Hassan presided over the money laundering and assets beyond means case against Shehbaz Sharif – PML-N President and National Assembly Opposition Leader.
During the hearing, the court extended physical remand of Shehbaz Sharif who is to remain in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) custody till October 20th.
Prior to this, Shehbaz Sharif, along with his wife and two sons Salman Shehbaz and Hamza Shehbaz were put on ‘no fly list’ on October 9th last week.
Shehbaz Sharif was arrested on September 28th in money laundering and assets beyond means reference filed by NAB.
The anti-graft body has accused Shehbaz Sharif and family of being involved in money laundering and assets beyond meas amounting to Rs 7 billion.
The reference also names his wife Nusrat Shehbaz, sons – Hamza, Salman Shehbaz – and two daughters, Rabia Imran and Javeria Ali.
