Federal Finance Minsiter – Shaukat Tarin has reiterated government’s commitment towards ensuring higher sustainable growth while announcing to government’s decision to launch Kamyab Pakistan programme soon.
In his virtual address at ‘Pakistan’s Economy- Fragility & Smart Action Strategy’ National Workshop Balochistan-7 held at Southern Command HQ, Finance Minsiter Shaukat Tarin reaffirmed government’s commitment towards ensuring higher sustainable and inclusive growth.
Government has devised comprehensive reforms in all sectors in order to achieve sustainable and inclusive growth, he said.
The finance minister apprised that Pakistan achieved macroeconomic stability and now we are moving towards the higher growth trajectory and further measures are being focused on establishing and strengthening an economy which was not only self-reliant but also capable of competing with its competitors globally.
Shaukat Tarin also revealed that federal government will soon launch ‘Kamyab Pakistan Programme – a multi-dimensional social welfare initiative.
Tarin noted that the initiative will include housing projects, skill development and loan schemes, health cards and agricultural loans.
Kamyab Pakistan Programme will comprise of approximately 4 million families all across Pakistan, and will provide up to Rs 500,000 interest-free loans.
SAPM on Youth Affairs – Usman Dar has said that financing modes have been finalized with the finance minister and the programme will be launched in the next few days.
