Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and former Prime Minister Shahid Kkhaqan Abbasi, on Tuesday, secured bail from Sindh High Court (SHC) till June 9.
According to details, a two member bench of SHC, headed by Chief Justice Sindh High Court presided over the bail plea submitted by the former prime minister and awarded bail till June 9 in MD PSO case.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been directed to submit security bonds worth up to Rs 500,000.
Prior to this Islamabad High Court (IHC) has also extended Shadhid Khaqan Abbasi’s protective bail for three weeks in MD PSO appointment case after National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had issued arrest warrants for Mr Abbasi.
It is to be noted that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is accused of misusing his authority and illegally appointing Sheikh Imran ul Haq as the managing director (MD) of Pakistan State Oil (PSO).
