Veteran Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi, on Saturday, announced that he has been diagnosed with COVID-19 coronavirus.
Shahid Afridi took to social media to announce that he was ‘feeling unwell since Thursday’ and that his body was aching upon which he took COVID-19 test which came back positive.
“I’ve been tested and unfortunately I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah,” he tweeted.
It is to be noted that Shahid Afridi has been actively participating in welfare works as the founder and head of Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF).
His organization has distributed ration packages across the country to assist the people who have been facing grim economic repercussions of COVID-19 outbreak.
