Candidates for the upcoming senate elections from Punjab have all been elected ‘unopposed’ on Thursday (today).
As per details, all 11 candidates from Punjab for March 3rd senate elections have been elected unopposed.

- Aun Abbas
- Saifullah Sarwar Niazi
PML-N’s Elected Candidates
- Azam Nazir Tarar
- Saadia Abbasi
- Sajid Mir
- Afnanullah Khan
- Irfan-ul-Haq Siddiqui
Meanwhile Kamil Ali Agha is PML-Q’s sole candidate elected for the senate elections.

Meanwhile earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto met with senior Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz in Raiwind.
The two mulled over political situation and upcoming senate elections and agreed upon devising a joint strategy with extensive collaboration and cooperation.
The Senate elections are being held on March 3rd for the election of 48 new senators from across the country with the following distribution of seats;
- Islamabad – 2 seats
- Punjab – 11 seats
- Sindh – 11 seats
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – 12 seats
- Balochistan – 12 seats
