Security squad comprising officers, junior commissioned officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army has left for Qatar to provide fool-proof security during FIFA World Cup.
While keeping in view the professionalism and valor of Pakistan Army, Qatar had requested Pakistan to assist the country in terms of security. Earlier, a four-member delegation of Qatar’s Interior Ministry visited Pakistan in wake of seeking security assistance from the best army of the world.
In this context, an eight-member delegation of the International FIFA Training Team also visited Pakistan in September 2022.
It is pertinent to mention here that FIFA World Cup 2022 will commence on November 21 and will conclude on December 18.
