Security forces on Tuesday, apprehended a suspected terrorist of a banned organization from near Lahore Railway Station.
According to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), security forces apprehended a suspected terrorist named Liaquat from near Lahore Railway station on Tuesday (today).
A suicide vest has been recovered from the suspect who was waiting for his accomplice, said CTD officials.
Two hand grenades, a 30-bore pistol and six bullets have also been recovered from the suspect.
Officials fear that the other accomplice might also be a suicide bomber.
The suspect has been transferred to an undisclosed location, meanwhile an FIR has been registered as further investigation is underway by security agencies along with the search for the missing terrorist.
