Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday, rejected Agha Iftikharuddin Mirza’s apology – the man who threatened Justi Qazi Faez Isa.
Hearing the case pertaining to the threats issued by Mr Agha Iftikharuddin Mirza to Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan rejected the apology of the former and remanded him to FIA’s custody.
Mr Agha Iftikharuddin Mirza’s lawyer submitted his client’s apology and contended that three of his client’s arteries are blocked and he suffers from severe ailments.
The top court however, rejected his apology, whereas Justice Ijazul Ahsan remarked that everyone cites ‘health concern’s whenever they are summoned by the court.

Prior to this, anti-terrorism court on June 30, had remanded Mirza into the FIA’s custody for seven days in response to the case filed by Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s wife against Mr Mirza who had given death threats to Justice Qazi Faez Isa
In the video that was widely circulated on social media, Mr iftikharuddin could be heard suggesting that anyone involved in financial embezzlement should be put in front of a firing squad.
