As per the media reports, Bollywood actor and industry superstar Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.

The development comes as the industry veteran was admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai on August 8 after experiencing breathlessness and uneasiness in the chest.
The actor took to social media to announce that he is currently under medical observation and that his COVID-19 test had come back negative.
However, on Tuesday August 11 the 61 year old Bollywood superstar revealed that he will be taking a short break from word for some medical treatment, urging everyone to abstain from unnecessary speculations.
“Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment, MY family and friends are with me and I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!” he said in a statement issued on social media.
According to a close friend of Sanjay Dutt, the actor is expected to leave for United States for medical treatment.
