Ameer Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Hafiz Saad Rizvi on Thursday asked party leaders to cease and desist from waging further public protests.
A written affidavit by the religious leader while in custody pleads to end all road blockades and strikes across the country.
He also directed TLP sympathizers, supporters, and members to cooperate with government institutes and law enforcement who are trying to ensure law and order.
The affidavit further asks all the people currently on the roads and involved in demonstrations to peacefully scatter and head home.
Saad Rizvi, the chief of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan was detained in Lahore on Monday.
