An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi has sentenced Saad Aziz and others to 50 years in prison for their involvement in two murder cases.
As per details, the accused have been handed 50 years’ imprisonment sentence in two separate murder cases including the murder of a Pakistan Navy officer and a policeman.
Saad Aziz, along with Aziz alias Tin Tin, and Tahir Hussain Minhas were booked for attacking Pakistan Navy Captain Nadeem Ahmed and his wife Tracey.
The attackers had opened fire on the couple who were travelling in their car. Captain Nadeem Ahmed embraced martyrdom in the attack whereas his wife was injured.
Meanwhile, the accused had also martyrted Waqat Hashmi – a police constable in Karachi on October 16th 2014.
It is to be noted that Saad Aziz had been awarded death sentence by a military court for his involvement in the murder of human rights activist Sabeen Mahmud and Safoora Massace killing 48 people of the Ismaili community.
