Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on a two-day visit on April 6th, confirmed Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday (today).
As per details, Russian FM Sergey Lavrov will arrive in Islamabad on April 6th. During the two-day visit, the Russian dignitary will hold talks with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi over bilateral ties, economic cooperation prospects and counterterrorism efforts.

The visiting dignitary will also be accompanied by Russia’s special envoy on Afghanistan Zamir Kaboluv.
This would be the first visit of a Russian foreign minister to Pakistan since 2012 as Pakistan and Russia are strengthening their ties as both countries have found common ground on several issues, including the Afghan peace process.
