Brazilian football legend, Ronaldo De Lima, has recently revealed the club he thinks French football star Kylian Mbappe should join if he wants to bag a Ballon d’Or.
Mbappe, 25, is awaiting to leave Parc des Princes this summer after he announced that he will not be signing a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The France captain has attracted several Premier League clubs with his impressive soccer skills but the one he prefers is his all-time favourite team, Real Madrid and Ronaldo, the former Real Madrid legend, agrees.
While speaking to the Daily Mail, Ronaldo hailed Mbappe’s qualities, saying: “We have to wait until it’s official before talking about it in detail, but everyone is excited about Kylian Mbappe in Madrid.
“He is an amazing player. He is going to be one of the best players in this moment.”
Mbappe has been a proud admirer of Real Madrid and Ronaldo thinks he can win his first Ballon d’Or award — an annual football award which is deemed the highest award in football.
“I think it’s a very good choice for him if he joins Madrid. I think he will finally get the Ballon d’Or if he joins Real.”
In his latest Ligue 1 clash against Stade de Reims on Sunday, Mbappe was benched by PSG, an ongoing trend for the forward amid his looming exit from the club and potential move to Real Madrid.
