ISLAMABAD: PM’s Special Assistant on Health, Dr. Zafar Mirza has announced, on Thursday, the launching of National Dashboard on Covid-19 which will provide real-time updates on the current situation of the cases across the country.
“There have been far-reaching discussions on health between China and Pakistan. President Arif Alvi’s visit to China was to understand how to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Pakistan,” he said regarding the recent visit of President Arif Alvi’s recent visit to China during yesterday’s press conference.
Special Assistant to PM on Information and Broadcasting, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan and Director General ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar were among other speakers at the press conference.
Dr Mirza assured that with China’s assistance, Pakistan will receive advice and support in handling the pandemic situation from experts on infectious disease control through video conferencing the first of which will take place soon.
