Spanish football club Real Madrid, on Thursday, secured their 34th La Liga win after 2-1 victory over Villarreal.
Read Madrid went up against Villarreal at Alfredo di Stefano in the suburbs of Madrid and won their 10th game in a row with 2-1 win over Villarreal securing their 34th La Liga title and leaving them left them seven points clear of Barcelona with a game left to play.
This is Real Madrid’s 34th La Liga title, and the first since 2017. Karim Benzema scored both the goals for Real Madrid, taking his season tally to 21.
The development comes as though Real Madrid have dominated international tournaments such as Champions League, they have been lagging behind Barcelona in La Liga, and Real Madrid’s manager and former French football star Zinedine Zidane has been fixating on improving the team’s performance in domestic tournaments.
