A reading session was conducted for the script of ‘Sindh Meri Jaan’ – a short film by Voice of Sindh which is under production.
Preparations are underway at Voice of Sindh regarding much awaited Sindh Culture Day. Pertaining to the upcoming occasion, discussions were held regarding especial episode of Voice of Sindh’s program ‘Story of Indus Civilization’, a short film titled ‘Sindh Meri Jaan’ along with profile videos on several prominent personalities from Sindh.
A script reading session was held at Voice of Sindh office on Thursday (today) which was presided by Dr Umair Haroon – Project Director Voice of Sindh.
The script was read out by Iqbal Khursheed, which was followed by detailed and in-depth discussion of the filming process and other relevant matters regarding the production.
The session was attended by Fawwad Raza, Ahsan Lakhani, Danish Sheikh, Chaudhry Osama Saeed, Arbaz and others.
Renowned anchor Najia Mir, who will be playing a key role in the short film also attended the session.
The reading session was subjected to strict COVID-19 SOPs as per the government instructions amid prevailing second coronavirus wave.
The short film ‘Sindh Meri Jaan’ will be released on December 6th on Sindh Culture Day and is being produced under the guidance and leadership of Dr Umair Haroon who also lead the production of other short films by Voice of Sindh such as ‘Jinnah Tum Durust Thay’ (Jinnah you were right), ‘Aey Pak Watan’, ‘Sitaron Se Aagay’ and ‘Tareekh Kay Musafir’.
