Raoof Hasan – an acclaimed writer, has been appointed as the new Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting.
Raoof Hasan will serve as SAPM on Information and Broadcasting to PM Imran Khan in honorary capacity.
Raoof Hasan is brother of Fawad Hasan Fawad, the former principal secretary to then prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
The development comes as earlier, Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa had stepped down from the post of SAPM on Information and Broadcasting.
PM Imran Khan had accepted his resignation on October 12th earlier this month.
