Quetta, on Tuesday morning, was jolted by a blast at the city’s famous Turbat Bazaar.
According to details, one person is said to have died, while another seven are reported to have been wounded in the blast.
Sources say that the wounded have been shifted to a local hospital, of which two of them are in critical condition.
As per the latest reports, the blast is said to have damaged nearby buildings whose windows have been shattered due to the sheer force of the explosion, whereas a nearby car and motorcycle were also set ablaze.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and further investigation is underway to determine the cause and nature of the explosion.
