At least four people have been killed, in a blast at Quetta’s Serena Hotel on Wednesday (today).
According to details, more than a dozen people have been injured in an unspecified explosion at Quetta’s Zarghun Road.
Deputy Commissioner Quetta Aurangzeb Badini has confirmed that four people have been killed in the explosion.

Security forces have cordoned off the area, whereas nature of the blast has not yet been specified.
The explosion took place in the parking area of a hotel located near the Serena Chowk, said the police.
The wounded have been shifted the Civil Hospital meanwhile further investigation is underway. Assistant Commissioner Revenue Quetta Ijaz Ahmed and Assistant Commissioner Jaffarabad Bilal Shabbir are also among those injured in the blast.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, has affirmed that federal Interior Ministry is in contact with Balochistan government and an official statement will be issued later.
In a statement, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has also condemned the incident.
